BIOGRAPHY
Philippe Tullio
Philippe Tullio began his professional career as an actor in Los Angeles
under the guidance of Joanne Baron, a renowned acting coach whose clients have included Halle Berry and Leslie Mann. While studying under her, Tullio was introduced to Meisner's technique, which sparked his interest in pursuing further training in acting. He then went on to explore other acting methods, including Stanislavski's.
Tullio's passion for film led him to join the London Film Academy in 2007,
where he honed his skills in directing. At the Academy, he met Lincoln Ascott, a teacher who inspired him and convinced him to work as an actor and assistant director on three short films.
At the age of 25, Tullio produced and directed his first medium-length film, "K-CITIZEN," which tackled the excesses of the American dream. He followed this with a satirical comedy titled "Jesus is Back and He's Not Happy."
Tullio then ventured into feature films and wrote three scripts,
“THE SCARFACE GENERATION”:
a drama based on real-life events, which tells the story of an Afghan multimillionaire living in Los Angeles who squanders his 8-figure fortune in just six months.
He also co-wrote with Jeremy Minuit "JAYA" an action film,
(Teaser and mood board available).
and "CRAKO," a horror and parkour movie featuring David Belle, the founder of parkour.
"CRAKO” is currently in development.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Tullio wrote on "OFF-SIDE,"
an offbeat series about a modern soccer anti-hero.
Additionally, he had the opportunity to produce and shoot a commercial for the fashion brand ABACO Paris with the actor and ex-professional boxer Stéphane Ferrarra.
